Is it fair to say that Billy Wagner's career has been as good as Trevor Hoffman's?

You state a very nice case. I'm afraid your argument will be the victim of common perceptions rather than reason. People are just conditioned to think Hoffman was Hall material because of the saves. They don't' have the same feeling about Wagner.
