Anyone doing contract law???
On 6 October, Caroline read in a local newspaper, ‘The Goulston Gazette’, tht Rodney Razzle was offering £10,000 to the first person to fly a plane from Birmingham to London before 1 December. Caroline begins to prepare the plane. On 15 October, an advert appears in the ‘Aldgate Times’, another local paper, stating that Rodney’s original offer is cancelled. Caroline was a regular reader of the Goulston Gazette, but she never read the Aldgate Times and therefore she did not see the announcement in the Aldgate Times. On 28 November, Caroline went to Birmingham to start her flight. Rodney’s sister, Shirley, said to Caroline that the flight challenge had been withdrawn. Caroline ignored Shirley’s statement and started her flight.Shirley contacted her brother Rodney who managed to radio Caroline in the middle of her flight. Rodney told Caroline that the flight prize had been withdrawn. Caroline ignored his message and completed her flight. She now claims the £10,000. advise her.
