How do i design and make t shirts?

I've been trying to start my own business by making hand-made t shirts with environmentally-friendly logos and messages. but i don't know how i should get the design onto the fabric. i have an air-brush kit, but that's clic and my skills are limited. does anyone know how or know a website where i can learn how? thanks.
