What are some dark, eerie, NOT DEATH METAL, not well known, sad songs?

I'm looking for new songs to add to my ipod, but i want the ones that you listen to when it's midnight, and everything is all dark and surreal. So the type of song that isn't loud, jarring, or happy. Serene, maybe, and sad, and eerie. Like graveyard type eerie, if that's the way to put it. Sad, beautiful, creepy...? and PLEASE, no death metal kitten-chomping screaming songs....that's not the type of eerie I'm looking for. SAD!!! and thanks in advance! and i WILL be giving out a best answer xD
